#MADAGASCAR MONDAYS: 3 Weeks To Go

#mondays2342

Manao ahoana e!! (Good Evening!)

Here it is, this weeks #MadagascarMonday blog to provide you with a weekly update of Team Loholoka’s progress over the past seven days.

We are getting ever closer to leaving for Madagascar flying out in just under 3 weeks!

Firstly as usual we want to give a shoutout to all the wonderful people who has supported our expedition this week via Indiegogo! Every donation really helps make a difference to the expedition! This week especially has been a bumper week from some very generous individuals!

James Butler for being the first to select our top reward the Fossa Package

Jonathan Pickering

Marine Decaux for donating for a second time!

With all the team now back in the UK and working on the expedition we have been able to upload a campaign video featuring all six team members.

Additionally we shared earlier this week via our indiegogo updates a second bloopers video from the filming of the video which we hope you enjoy as something a bit extra.

Excitingly we are so now trending on Indiegogo itself being featured second on the environment page and are hoping this will spread our mission to a even wider audience! Which can be seen here.

We are now in frequent correspondence with DBCAM in Madagascar finalising details of logistics and equipment. Making it seem even more real we will be making payment in the next week for the hire of equipment and accommodation whilst in Madagascar! We now have confirmation that we will be able to send text updates from Loholoka whilst in the field and are still hoping to find a way to share photos whilst we are out there too, so stay posted on this!

We are also hoping to receive some further local media outreach having contacted a number of newspapers after Susie’s success and will be sure to share articles as they appear.

Only a short blog this week but we sure things are moving behind the scenes to make the expedition as good as it can be!

Remember to follow us on Twitter (Loholoka) and like us on Facebook (Expedition Loholoka) for daily updates and tell all your family and friends about us!

Until next Monday,

Tom
